DOWN SHORT FILM (2024)

Down was my directorial debut - a short film I directed, shot, and edited for under £1,000 with a tiny crew. Most days it was just me, my best friend Brandon, and Tim, who also wrote and starred in it.

The film follows a man dealing with grief on a path of revenge - themes that connected with me through my work as a firefighter. It was made over the course of a year with plenty of trial, error, and late nights, but I’m proud of what we pulled together.

It went on to win Best Mystery Short at the Independent Short Awards in LA, along with a few directing and best actor awards at various festivals. A crazy experience for something that started as a small idea between friends.
